Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026
Last updated: August 20, 2026

The privacy of your personal information is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how LS Foods, LLC, doing business as Small Farm Foods ("Small Farm Foods," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.farmfreshfreezer.com (the "Site"), place an order, sign up for our alerts, or enter our drawing.

This Policy is a notice that describes our privacy practices. Your use of the Site and any order you place are governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Your name, phone number, email address, and mailing or pickup address.
  • Order details, including the items you order and your chosen pickup location.
  • Payment information you enter at checkout, which is processed by Square (see Section 5).
  • The phone number and any preferences you provide when you opt in to text or voicemail alerts.
  • Information you provide when you enter our drawing, such as your name and contact details.

Information we collect automatically

  • Basic device and usage information — such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — collected through cookies, similar technologies, and standard web server logs to keep the Site secure and working properly. See Section 6.

Information we receive from others

  • Order and contact information passed to us by an independent store or pickup partner when you place an order through them.
  • Confirmation of payment from Square. We do not receive your full card number from Square.

We collect only the information we need to run the store, coordinate pickups, administer the drawing, and send the alerts you asked for.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders and coordinate your pickup.
  • Contact you about your order or your pickup — by text, email, or phone.
  • Send you the text or voicemail alerts you have opted in to (see Section 3).
  • Administer our drawing and notify winners.
  • Maintain records, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Improve the Site and our products.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. Text (SMS) and voicemail alerts

We run two separate alert programs: text messages and voicemail messages. You may sign up for either, both, or neither, and we ask for your consent to each one separately. Consent to either program is not a condition of any purchase — you can order from us without signing up for alerts.

How you opt in

You can opt in by checking the box on our mail-in postcard, by submitting the form on the Site, or by texting our keyword. Each method asks separately about text alerts and voicemail alerts.

Text alerts

If you opt in to text alerts, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Small Farm Foods about upcoming truck sales, pickup reminders, and related updates. You will receive up to 2 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Voicemail alerts

If you separately opt in to voicemail alerts, you agree to receive recurring prerecorded voicemail messages from Small Farm Foods about the same topics. Your consent to voicemail alerts is separate from your consent to text alerts, and opting in to one does not opt you in to the other.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, and reply HELP for help. You may also opt out of texts or voicemails by any reasonable method — including by calling or emailing us at 574-822-7347 or info@farmfreshfreezer.com, by replying with words such as QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or by telling us in person at a pickup. We will honor your request as soon as we can, and in any event within 10 business days. After you opt out, we keep your number on a do-not-contact list so that we do not message you again.

How we treat your mobile number

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the information-sharing described elsewhere in this Policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share your number only with the service providers who help us deliver the messages — for example, our texting and automated-calling providers — and only so that they can send the alerts on our behalf.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — our payment processor (Square), our website host, our text and voicemail delivery providers, and any provider that helps us fulfill or coordinate orders — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service for us.
  • Independent stores and pickup partners — only the information needed to coordinate an order or pickup you have placed through them.
  • Professional advisors — our accountants, attorneys, and insurers, where needed and subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by law — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or the safety of others.
  • In a business transfer — if we sell or transfer all or part of our business, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this Policy or give you notice and a choice.

We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you.

As stated in Section 3, your text and voicemail opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

5. Payment and checkout security

Checkout on the Site takes place over an encrypted connection, and card payments are processed by Square, our payment provider, under Square’s own security standards and privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers on our website, and full card numbers are not available to our staff through the Site.

If you place an order by phone, we enter your card details directly into our payment provider’s system. We do not write card numbers down and we do not store them.

6. Cookies and your browser choices

The Site uses cookies and similar tools to function properly and to remember your cart and preferences.

You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not work as well if you disable them.

Some browsers and browser extensions send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not use your information for targeted advertising and do not sell it, we do not currently respond to these signals.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, run our alerts and drawing, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We keep records of alert opt-ins and opt-outs for at least four (4) years as part of our compliance recordkeeping.

8. Your choices and rights

You may opt out of alerts at any time (see Section 3).

Whatever state you live in, you may ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete information that we are not required to keep.
  • Receive a copy of the information you gave us.

To make a request, contact us at 574-822-7347, info@farmfreshfreezer.com, or the mailing address in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will respond within 45 days or tell you if we need more time. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of that authority.

We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you exercised these rights.

If we decline your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same phone number, email address, or mailing address. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under a state privacy law. We will honor those rights as applicable law requires.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults, and you must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including the encrypted checkout described in Section 5, and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information you provide. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant — for example, a change in how we share your information — we will make reasonable efforts to let you know directly, such as by text or email if you have opted in to alerts.
